I remember once, I got into a bit of a fender bender and felt really bad about it, and was being really hard on myself... Katie just said "oh well, I guess that's what bumpers are for."... Just like that, she turned my horrible accident into something else. A lesson. Perspective. Or just what it was, a little accident... She was always becoming whoever I needed her to be in that moment... That is the epitome of our friendship. A real friend who just listened and looked on the bright side. (with added giggles and "oh wells" and "what can you do's").. . She was a great friend. And with the way she listened and put me at ease with her point of view and positive attitude, I knew she would make a great mom too. love,
