We miss her in Teddington

Another Teddington Mum who misses Katheryn, such a kind and gentle Mum to Oscar and a lovely friend.

We didn't have the pleasure of knowing her for very long, but we are very, very glad to have known her, and to have spent time with such a lovely child as Oscar.

We met at one of the playgroups on Station Road when the boys were about 1.  Katheryn was calmly coping with the needs of two toddlers, whilst the rest of us struggled to cope with caring for just one!  We then met frequently around Teddington, in both our daily Mummy duties and park excursions.

I didn't ever get to find out what amazing things she did outside of her family role from her directly, (although I have heard and read so much since) as our conversations were mostly based around the boys immediate needs.  I'm glad to have found out so much more about her, but can honestly say that even knowing her "just" as a Mummy was inspiration enough.  She really was such a good Mummy to Oscar, so caring, sweet and kind.  I last saw her leaving a playgroup as she cagouled both boys into leaving with the promise of some "yummy apricots" to which they both fell into line and left.

We miss seeing her and send much love to all her family and friends.

Liz and Elliott.
