To my friend Katheryn.
I will always remember you as a beautiful, gentle humanitarian, who was forgiving and genuine. You were a friendly and compassionate person who smiled a lot and moved through life with grace. A tiny little spirit with brave ambitions who was so sophisticated in her worldly travels, education, and life choices. Someone, who didn't seem afraid, and was just living life as it came. Someone very brave.
With your beautiful loving heart and gentle nature, kind and considerate, I will remember you for your blue eyes and dark lips. Your perfect skin. … The way you danced across the stage, and how you touched the side of your mouth when you were listening. And you were always listening.
You will always serve as a constant reminder, that it is the little things in life which allows us to enjoy it the most, ballet, coffee, bare-feet, poetry and art galleries. Little things that make us giggle... Touching you, lifting you in improve or just for the hell of it, because it was physically fun to pick you up. Picnics. Watching you change Oscar's diaper in the park, witnessing you put your emotions on the line for art in dance class… These little things I am grateful for experiencing. Thank you for coming into our lives, for the wonderful memories. We miss you. We adore you.
