This is a photo of a dance I choreographed in memory of Katie. Marcy, Karen, Pat, and I performed it this past August in her honor. Theresa was unable to dance this time, but still remained a significant part of the process. This piece represented Katie's life (through my eyes), our friendship, her relationship to the world and those around her...The last section of the dance incorporated some of Katheryn's own movement choreography from many years ago in "By the Window Pain"--a solo she performed in class at SDSU.
We are both thinking of you, Katheryn, on Bee Day. I think of you so often. Love and miss you, dear friend.
